What to include in your inquiry
Send approximate length and width, how you will use the board, any preferred wood or colors, and a date if it is a gift. Include reference photos or a sketch if they explain something words do not.
If you want engraving or another personalized detail, describe it rather than assuming every placement is suitable for a cutting surface. The shop will discuss what is feasible for the piece.
Work out the details before the build
Construction type, thickness, pattern, grooves and handles all affect the design. Ask about the current material options, estimated price and lead time before committing.
Pickup or shipping arrangements should be confirmed with the shop for your order. This page does not promise a fixed turnaround, delivery radius or shipping price.
A reference is a starting point
Natural wood varies in color and grain. A previous build can guide the proportions or style without becoming an exact copy. Existing shop and gallery pages show real work and are useful references for an inquiry.
When your design is agreed, keep the final specifications together with the care instructions. That makes the board easier to look after and gives you a clear record of the piece.
